Fourth of July

We had a great fourth of July. We went to my sister, Holly's house and had a cookout and the kids swam and we had lots of desserts and then we did fireworks. The only slip up was that Holly forgot to put the sugar in the home made ice cream! lol. Dad had to work and mom wasn't feeling good so they didn't get to come to the party. Sydney had a blast playing on the scooter!
Lauren, Sydney and Jack

A group shot of all the cousins!

Sydney being silly Chillin and waving her flag Love this lil girls expressions!

Holly and Sydney

Sydney's bow This is the only time Sydney will get to wear a two piece for a long time. The only reason she got to wear it was because it was a hand me down from holly and it was the right colors for the fourth! Stephen doesn't think little girls should wear two piece suits! I agree.

Sydney finally relaxing in the pool. For some reason she doesn't like to get in the pools but loves to take baths? We are working on it and hopefully soon she will love the water.

Sydney even let Alexis take her into the big pool on the fourth! She didn't put up too much of a fuss and hung out with the Alexis and Jack for a few minutes!

I bought all the kids these silly straws and the all loved it. Sydney of course had to use her straw as well so we put milk in a cup for her and she thought she was big!
One little monkey jumping on the couch!!! Two lil girls making sure she doesn't fall! lol

I don't know what it is about smoke bombs but kids love them. They love to run through the smoke until it got in Brooke's eyes then it wasn't fun anymore!
Sydney and Daddy cooling off with a treat! Sydney is getting her eye teeth on top so she is keeping her fingers in her mouth these days.

Hanging out before we start the fireworks Missy with Reagan and Brooke. We spent the night trying to keep Brooke's dress on so we wouldn't get any boob shots.
Stephen with Sydney watching the fireworks. Sydney fussed a little bit with the first two that we did but after that it was all smiles and clapping when the would go off. All the kids hung out in the back of my truck and watched fireworks.
