Mills Park

Sunday Sydney and I met up with both of my sisters with their children at Mills park. I took Sydney before to the park and she didn't have too much fun (she would cry every time we would put her on something). This time the weather was perfect and she took off running from the time we got there. It's so nice going anywhere with me sisters kids because they want to "take care of Sydney". They followed her around everywhere wanting her to try this and get on that with them. I'm sure its hard for Sydney to get so much attention! Her favorite part of the park is the swing. She also like to go down the slide. She actually will just go down by herself. Big change from the last park experience. I love this stage in her life, but yet I say that about every stage she has.
Oh yea what do yal think about those pigtails? LOL I thought it was funny!

Relaxing in the sun!

Yesterday was sooooo beautiful. Sydney had her 15 month check up and everything looked great except her wt. She only weighs 20lbs 3Oz's. She is in the 15%. So we will go back in 4 weeks to re-check her weight. She also had to get two shots unfortunately. I have never been a mom that cries when she gets her shots but yesterday was HARD! When they stuck her for the first time she grabbed at the needle and it freaked me out because she has never done this before so I had to grab her arms and restrain her. I felt so bad after we left that I took her over to Toys R Us. LOL!!! I know I'm silly but I think she needed a reward and me an outlet for what we BOTH had been through!!! ha ha. We bought a little slide for her to learn to climb up and slide down and we also got an Elmo kite. Here are some pictures of our afternoon after she woke up from her FOUR hour nap!!!
O yea and it was her first day to wear shorts for this year. I thought she was adorable!

Late St.patricks Day and Wye Mtn.

Hey guys! This week has been nonstop for us so I'm going to wish you a late St.Patricks day and pictures of Wye Mtn. from Wednesday.

For some reason Sydney for the first time got car sick on the way to Wye Mtn. It was crazy because Stephen had just turned around and asked Sydney if she was okay and then next second she was hurling!!! If you know my husband it was entertaining to say the least to watch his reaction. Although I did feel bad for Sydney too for getting sick I had to laugh a little at Stephen.

Once we got there and changed clothes we had a great time. We went with Dennis, Kali and Parker. My sister thought the flowers would be dead due to the frost last week but luckily for us there were plenty of beautiful daffodils!!!
Here are some fun pictures from our St.Patricks Day parade at my moms daycare and from Wye mountain.

Happy birthday Kali

I wanted to wish a good friend Kali Happy Birthday!!! THANK YOU for helping me with my blog. She is responsible for making my blog beautiful!! It's not easy helping a computer retard like me but thank you for helping me out!

Fun with the Evans

Yesterday we went to our friends house the Evans. Sydney hasn't been able to visit Parker since she has been sick with RSV. At first Sydney was shy but after a few minutes she was running around playing with Parker's cool toys.

We came over early enough so that we would have enough time to visit and cook before having to leave right dinner to put the kids done for bedtime. So the kids played for a while and Dennis put the steaks on the grill. Dennis wanted to show us his neighbors back yard. His neighbor built this beautiful waterfall in his backyard. Our course we thought this would be a pretty background for pictures so we made sure we brought our cameras. Stephen was nervous as we walked over to the backyard without asking permission. I would have never been able to conviece him to go over there if Dennis wasn't going!! He is so funny. We were so glad we went. It was gorgerous!!! We got a really nice family picture as well. We rarely have a opporunity to get pictures like these.

When we got back to Dennis and Kali's house we found out that the steaks were burned!! Luckily we were able to save most of them and they were very good.

After dinner we let the kids hang out and play for a minute while we hung out on the couches with our bellies stuffed!! While we were hanging out the kids started to be super cute!! We got them to give each other love and they gave each other kisses!! It was so funny because everytime Kali would say kiss Sydney, Parker would try to give Stephen who was sitting in the floor with them a kiss!!! We gor some really preciouse pictures from them loving each other.

Stephen and Parker had a great time playing with each other with a plastic spoon!! Parker laughed for the longest. It was soo cute. Stephen said after we left, Parker always laughs and want to play with me! I told him it was because he acts like a big kid! ha!!

For the grand finale we made our St. Patty day shamrock rice krispy treats!! I think they really didn't know what to do at first with this big green blob. Sydney put her shoe on it then Parker sneezed in the middle of it!!! =) We thought we better not share these treats this time! The shamrocks turned out cute and we had a great time.

I brought over ingredients to make green rice krispies in the shape of shamrocks for St. Patrick day.
